At Camp Zoofari, we provide an immersive, hands-on learning experience for children at the Houston Zoo. Guided by our passionate camp staff, we transform the Zoo into a dynamic classroom where each day offers unique opportunities for campers to connect with our animals and the dedicated individuals working to save them. Our mission is to inspire and shape the wildlife-saving identities of our campers, foster a deep appreciation for nature, and maintain a commitment to conservation.
2026 Camp Zoofari Sessions
Camp Zoofari is a week-long day camp offered during the summer, with sessions occurring Monday – Friday on select weeks from 8:45AM – 4:15PM.

Members get early access to camp registration! Memberships must be purchased prior to February 2026 to receive early access to summer offerings.

Activities and experiences are tailored to your camper’s age. Each topic includes exclusive camp experiences, opportunities to interact with a variety of Zoo staff, enjoy special animal presentations, feed giraffes, ride the carousel, and more!
Camp Zoofari Hours of Operation
Drop Off: 8:45 – 9:15 a.m.
Pick Up: 3:45 – 4:15 p.m.
