This month, we're thrilled to introduce you to Chrysantha Hayman, a Katy-based mom, home security consultant, and the powerhouse behind her mission to help families feel safe, secure, and confident in their homes.
Meet Chrysantha
Born and raised in Houston, Chrysantha is a true local with deep roots in the area. She met her husband while attending the University of Houston, and together they made Katy their home four years ago. They recently celebrated a big milestone—daughter Violet just turned one!
“She keeps us laughing and on our toes every day,” Chrysantha says.

Building a Career that Protects and Empowers
Chrysantha began her journey into home security consulting with ADT because she wanted to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. “I wanted homeowners to feel truly at home—safe, comfortable, and confident in their space,” she shares. Her work allows her to help families protect what matters most, while also enjoying the flexibility she needs as a mom.

A Day in the Life
Like many working moms, Chrysantha’s days are full from start to finish. Her mornings start with sweet moments with Violet—coffee, playtime, and a walk to start the day. Then it’s off to the office for a morning meeting and out into the community to meet with homeowners.
“I love working closely with families to design smart home security systems they love and trust,” she says. After a day of consults and visits, she’s back home for dinner and quality time with her husband and daughter.
The Joy of Helping Families Feel Safe
For Chrysantha, the most rewarding part of her work is giving families peace of mind. “I love being a resource for people who are new to the area, helping them feel safe and settled. There’s something special about knowing I’ve helped someone create a space where they can truly relax.”

Real Talk: Balancing Mom Life and Business
Balancing a growing career and raising a toddler is no easy task. “Some days it’s hard to find that sweet spot between work and home,” she admits. “But I’ve learned that when I’m fulfilled and taking care of myself, I can be a more present and patient mom.”
Her advice for other moms thinking about starting their own business? “Be patient with yourself, and don’t give up. Some days are tough, but the long-term payoff is so worth it.”
Making Memories, One Walk at a Time
When she’s not designing security systems or attending consults, Chrysantha treasures the small, everyday moments with her family. “We love being outdoors—whether it’s walking, gardening, going to the park, or just running errands together. It’s the little things that really matter to us.”
